Lost Wax was worth EVERY PENNY!!! Thank you for making my daughter's wedding amazing. The dance floor was packed the entire night.

Lost Wax Band was absolutely phenomenal at our daughter's wedding! The truly made the night unforgettable. Their range of music was incredible-they played so many different genres and had something for every age group at the wedding. The dance floor was packed all night! One of our favorite moments was at the end of the night when they invited the bride and groom up on stage to sing with them and take pictures. It was such a fun, memorable way to end an amazing evening. Lost Was was hands down one of the highlights of the entire wedding. They were incredibly talented, energetic, engaging, and so much fun! Our guests are still talking about them. If you're looking for a band that will make your wedding or event truly memorable, we cannot recommend Lost Wax highly enough!

Lost Wax performed at my daughter's wedding and they were absolutely fantastic! They brought incredible energy and had everyone on the dance floor all night. They are so talented and did an amazing job reading the crowd and keeping the party going. The planning and care that went into making the night so special can't be overstated. They took care in preparing the set list and including songs important to the couple. My favorite moment of the entire night was when one of the singers turned the mic over to my daughter (the bride) and encouraged her to perform. It was such a spontaneous moment and one our family will talk about for years to come! If you want a wedding band that will make your celebration unforgettable, i can't recommend Lost Wax enough. They were phenomenal from start to finish!

Lost Wax was absolutely incredible at our wedding last weekend. Eboni makes you feel like family the minute you meet her, and the whole band welcomed us with open arms as they celebrated total strangers they've never met. I can't say enough good things about them. We love you all!!

Leah Landwehr

My one non-negotiable for my wedding was live music, and boy did Lost Wax deliver! I highly recommend hiring them for your wedding. Everyone stayed on the dance floor until the very end! Hands down the best day of our lives!

We've had Lost Wax band perform for 2 of our events, and they make it a party. They're just simply fantastic and we look forward to having them play at our next event as well.

Lost Wax was THE heartbeat of our wedding at the Nelson. From the moment we met Patrick at our brainstorming meeting, I knew we were in the best hands — he had me absolutely giddy for the day. Communication was effortless, fast, and genuinely fun, and every detail felt cared for. They live jazz during cocktail hour set the perfect tone (and honestly, we didn’t even know we got that in our contract!). Then they went above and beyond by learning our first dance song, my dance with my dad, and my husband’s dance with his mom. Every moment felt personal, intentional, and beautifully performed. Once the reception kicked off, they delivered everything: the classics everyone loves, fresh pop hits that kept the dance floor packed, and they honored our no‑play list like pros. The energy they brought was unreal — the kind of electricity you can’t manufacture. Multiple guests told us the final three songs were one of their core life memories. Honestly? Same. When they closed with “Simply the Best,” it was stuck in my head for the rest of the week… because that’s exactly what Lost Wax is. Truly, simply, the best. If you want a band that will elevate your wedding into something unforgettable, emotional, and wildly fun, Lost Wax is the one.

Lost Wax absolutely knocked it out of the park at Bash on Byars! From the moment they took the stage, they had our crowd of 1,800 people engaged, dancing, singing, and having an incredible time. Their talent, energy, professionalism, and ability to connect with the audience made them the perfect headliner for our biggest community event of the year. Leading up to the event, their communication and organization made planning easy, and on event day they were flexible, fun, and a true pleasure to work with. They brought exactly the kind of high-energy performance we were hoping for and helped create an unforgettable evening for our community. For a private event or on a public stage. If you're looking for a band that can entertain all ages, keep the dance floor full, and make your event one to remember, I can't recommend Lost Wax enough. We would welcome them back to Grandview in a heartbeat! — Chelsea Scoma Grandview Chamber of Commerce

Why Lost Wax

Live Entertainment From The Original Mashup Party Band

Lost Wax is The Original Mashup Party Band, a Kansas City live band that performs at weddings, corporate events, galas, festivals and private parties across the country. Since 2009, couples, planners and companies have trusted the band to keep their dance floors full. Instead of playing one song, stopping and starting the next, Lost Wax blends Pop, Rock, Hip-Hop and R&B from the past six decades into seamless live mashups. As a result, your grandparents, your college friends and your CEO can all dance to the same song at the same time.

Wedding Entertainment That Keeps the Floor Packed

For weddings, Lost Wax delivers a packed dance floor from the first dance to the send-off. In addition, ceremony and cocktail-hour options are available. First, our team builds a personalized set list with you. Then we plan the announcements and key moments of your reception together. Couples can choose a 5-piece Signature band, an 8-piece or 10-piece band, or The Collective, our live band and DJ hybrid. Meanwhile, our luxury wedding band experience brings our largest ensembles and full production to black-tie and marquee celebrations. To compare lineups, see our wedding band packages.

Corporate Events on the Biggest Stages

Companies book Lost Wax for galas, conferences, holiday parties and brand activations nationwide. In fact, past corporate clients include the NFL, PGA TOUR, Southwest Airlines, PayPal, IKEA and Hilton. In 2023, Lost Wax served as the Official NFL Draft House Band. Later, the band played Kansas City’s FIFA Fan Fest and became the house band for Second Chance Stage on Max and Magnolia Network. To learn more, visit our corporate band page.
