Dr. Kelsey Miles is a Kansas City-based blues artist, harmonica player, and songwriter known for her powerhouse vocals and soulful original music. A Professor of Chemistry and award-winning musician, she seamlessly blends storytelling with a blues-driven sound that inspires self-discovery and empowerment.

Originally from Ohio, Kelsey picked up the guitar—her first instrument—in 2014 while pursuing her doctorate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After earning her Ph.D. in 2017, she took a leap into a full-time music career, captivating audiences across the country with her dynamic performances. Now based in Kansas City, she balances her passion for music with her love for teaching at Avila University.

Her latest album, I Am, delves into themes of authenticity, while her upcoming release, Aware, offers an introspective journey for people-pleasers seeking self-empowerment. Whether on stage or in the classroom, Kelsey encourages everyone to be bold, be curious, and embrace their true selves.
